Intel Rewards Program

Intel has 100 distributors and over 10,000 resellers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. So what do you do when you're Intel and you want to help boost sales? Develop a 'Quest for El D'Orado' themed rewards program - naturally!

The 'Quest for El D'Orado' was an interactive Flash site developed in 8 languages for 16,000 users spread across 65 countries. We worked with Definition Ltd to develop the powerful backend system that gave the "points for prizes" system its juice. Using a combination of MySQL databases, custom PHP scripts and some nifty XML magic, we pulled off a system that kept all the internals out of the way, providing users with a slick and rewarding (!) experience.

We're pleased to say that our backend development enabled the rewards program to run without a hitch during the 2 month promotion, over which it was heavily promoted by Intel through postcards, posters, e-mails and banner ads.
